Part-time student interns organize locally to grow supporters, volunteers, and donors for pro-voter electoral reforms. Interns receive weekly manager check-ins and may facilitate chapter meetings and local events.

This temporary, full-time role (Mar 1–Nov 13, 2026) supports client email programs within a pod, reporting to a Managing Digital Strategist. You’ll draft email and landing page/donation form copy, help move content through review, and assist with launches. You’ll also learn email production, testing, performance metrics, and reporting while participating in internal and client meetings.

Manage and help optimize political/advocacy digital advertising campaigns with a focus on email acquisition, direct-to-donate fundraising, and persuasion. You’ll write and QA ad content, coordinate production across teams, set up and review campaigns across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Google, list vendors), and compile performance reporting. The role includes client-facing communication and frequent A/B testing across creative, targeting, and landing pages.

A full-time, one-year fellowship (with potential to convert to a permanent role) serving as the organization’s in-house expert on AI policy and politics. The fellow will produce memos and policy frameworks, design surveys/message tests, and translate technical AI developments into actionable guidance for Democratic campaigns, elected officials, and progressive organizations. A one-year fellowship placing an experienced investigative reporter in a participating local or regional U.S. newsroom while collaborating closely with ProPublica. Fellows propose and execute a community-specific investigative project with support from a ProPublica senior editor and access to ProPublica’s data, research, and engagement resources; work is published by both the partner newsroom and ProPublica.

Leads logistics for coalition meetings, trainings, mobilizations, and policy implementation, coordinating schedules, access needs, vendors, travel, and on-site support. Provides administrative support including invoice and reimbursement processing, budget tracking, file management, and asset inventory. Temporary full-time role running June 2–August 29, 2025, based in the Bay Area with hybrid work.

The Organizing Fellow is a part-time, temporary position (up to 20 hours/week for up to six months) supporting campaigns by recruiting and developing members and leaders across Maine. Fellows will build regional volunteer teams, engage members in elections, recruit new monthly donors, and support various campaign activities, with priority given to work in Muslim, rural, and veterans communities. The role is based in Maine with remote work and reports to the Campaigns Director.

The part-time community organizers will recruit and engage new members, develop local activities and committees, and build volunteer leadership to advance organizational campaigns. They will focus on organizing in specific regions of Maine, moving members into action at the state and national levels, including work with the Maine Small Business Coalition and small-dollar fundraising. Positions are temporary through December 31, 2026, can be hybrid or office-based in Portland, Bangor, or Lewiston, and report to the Organizing Director.

Full-time, in-person spring intern supporting the Human Capital Program for 10 weeks. Interns provide functional support, conduct research, and work directly with analysts and staff on policy issues including early childhood, worker benefits, education, business, and workforce development.
